Old Oakville Real Estate Market

Old Oakville is the original settlement area of the town, and is home to the historic shopping district, which includes all financial services, cafes, restaurants, boutiques, and spas. Old Oakville is bounded by 16 Mile Creek to the west, the QEW highway to the north, Chartwell Rd. to the east, and Lake Ontario to the south. 

Old Oakville consists of heavily treed streets, with many historic homes, parks and churches. The central library, centennial pool, the Oakville Centre for the performing arts, and one of the town's main art galleries are located in Old Oakville. In the summer, the Oakville Harbour is a hub of activity, mooring many sail and powerboats. Several of the private clubs: Oakville ClubOakville Power Boat Club, and the Burloak Canoe Club all find there homes on the Old Oakville banks of the 16 Mile Creek. 

Old Oakville real estate market is mature and affluent.
