OAKVILLE & BURLINGTON MARKET UPDATE

Despite industry warnings that the market would cool off in the last half of the year, we continue to notice a rise in Average Selling Price in Oakville & Burlington for Detached/Semi/Town Homes and a decrease in Days on Market. Despite this year’s challenges with COVID-19 and changes to the industry, the Real Estate Market remains strong and is expected to continue into the winter months.

Detached/Semi/Town homes in Oakville, the Average Sales Price increased! Average Sales Price increased 27.1 percent to $1,732,635  for Detached homes and increased 11.6 percent to $837,154 for Semi-Detached/Townhouse homes. Detached/Semi/Town Homes are selling in record time too.  Average Days on Market decreased 33.3 percent to 24 for Detached homes and decreased 40.0 percent to 15 for Semi-Detached/Townhouse homes. It’s a great time to sell in Oakville!

Across all styles of homes in Burlington, the Average Sales Price increased! Average Sales Price increased 17.4 percent to $1,175,256 for Detached homes, increased 17.2 percent to $715,108 for Semi-Detached/Townhouse homes, and 5.6 percent to $535,856 for Condos. Across all styles of homes in Burlington are selling in record time too.  Average Days on Market decreased 58.8 percent to 14 for Detached homes and decreased 42.1 percent to 11 for Semi-Detached/Townhouse homes. It’s a great time to sell in Burlington and the market is booming!
